Hey, just a push for the Hawk All Star possibilities...
FIRST BASE
As one of the better batters in the league (and looking like the best Blue Chip draft pick in history), Peter Alonso has batting splits of 299/354/711. He leads the league in RBIs with 86 and is tied with the league lead in home runs with 34 and his .711 slugging % is the best in the league. He also has the most extra base hits in the league with 56. No one is close in the Walker conference at any position let alone first base.
LEFT FIELD
Michael Brantley has been hitting the cover off the ball. His batting splits are 354/391/560 (2nd in the league for average, #1 slugging % for LF in Walker). His 107 hits are tied for 2nd in the league, his 56 RBIs are the most for any LF in the Walker conference and his 39 strike outs are the lowest among qualifying Walker leftfielders.
RIGHT FIELD
After a slow start to the season (hit .200 for the month of April), Charlie Blackmon has been firing on all cylinders. His batting splits are 306/352/527, he leads the conference in runs with 59 and he is #1 among Walker RF with his 59 runs and 51 RBIs. His .306 average and .527 slugging % are also #1 for RF in the Walker conference. He has the #2 hitting streak in the league this season at 18 games.
